Tim Lincecum and Matt Cain are beasts.  Good for them.

I love baseball, but there is a reason why it's great AND it sucks - Texas had to beat the two best teams in MLB to get to the WS.  Then, they lose to a team with a AAA lineup who got hot at the right time.

Getting involved in advanced baseball metrics has taken some of the fun out of it for me.  There's so much luck involved in baseball, it's ridiculous.

I still think the game is awesome.  But, for individual season games, football is tough to beat.

It's still early, but we could have a 2007 rematch, body.  We may have to bet a night of boozing
