I went to an elementary school that was across the street from the old laker stadium, where the "SHOW TIME LAKERS" played it was the Great Western forum in Inglewood, every year the lakers would go to our school and take a team picture to show the Forum as a back drop... i was about 8 yrs when i first saw vlade i got close enough to reach over and give him a high five he looked like a giant to me at that time (STILL DOES) , magic johnson was way to popular to weave my way into the crowd of teachers and students

Very well done as all of the epsn 30 for 30 are... Very good watch

crazy how a simple grabbing of some moron flag that running on the court could end a long time friendship

Kurt Rambis epic designer glasses, brutal 2 points a game but the mofo could pass and rebound all blue collar player ;D

I liked this 30/30 as well.

Yugoslavia had a sick team back then before the war split everyone up.  Divac, Petrovic, Kukoc, and Dino Radja were all really good players in the NBA and they had some others guys who had nice long careers.

Best thing about Rambis was when McHale gave him the Stan Hansen larriot..... ;D

Other than Duke/Carolina in basketball, that was the last rivalry in sports that I really cared about.  I remember getting home from school in the afternoon and watching the games on CBS.  Bird is my favorite athlete of all-time.  8)

The couple of years Petro had on the Nets were truly amazing.That guy was incredible,one of the best shooters/scoreres I have ever seen.Very unique playing style,sort of a step slow,but used it to get his man off guard then killed the guy with the quickest release jump shot in the league.He could get his man just a tad off balance and by the time got back on him,the shot was in.
