why is it that when you go in the crime ridden city of durham northcarolina's city landfill that i can back up my hauling trailer along with everyone else dumping tons of building materials wood trash bricks ect , and all the city does is crush it up and bury it

some citys like chapel hill seperate there wood but yet still alot of reusable goods /parts off of sofa's and countless other random goods simply get crushed and buried.

a whole 10 food long trailer filled up 4-5 feet high only costs about 15 dollars a load yet theres atleast 40-80 dollars of reusable parts if not more per load of this amount

it just seems like this would be a nice boost to the lower class , if they could have access to these dumping sites

Here in the Cataract City, OXY started a plant called EFW-Energy from waste back in 1980.  To this day they power the whole plant and surrounding plants with garbage power.  Don't know why they don't look more into it but 90% of OXY petro closed and relocated to Texas, more than likely for cheap labor.  We are Union strong here and look where it's getting us.

there is a place here in Raleigh called Resale or something and they take construction type donations....old fixtures, appliances, etc... the profits go to Habitat for Humanity, I think.  They will give you a tax writeoff slip when you donate.

i was at the durham landfill the other day and a few trucks with so much lumber being thrown out, enough to build  a couple rooms on a house in just that short time i was there, being tossed right in with the trash

Yea I have seen this done, someone's trash that is sit outside many times only needs a little repair a can be resold or used we are too spoiled on buying high dollar stuff when some stuff can be refurbished at little cost its just another waste. We are taught to buy shit constantly to keep the economy going = brainwashing.

yep the main shit we really need is food/water, power, property

theres no need to constantly spend, theres no need for me to do alot of the painting and grassmowing i do either but the city ordinances wont let that fly and people  complain about things that need a little bit of painting, and those city improvement cars that ride around will bitch about the smallest indescrepancy on a house and all they do is ride around all fuckin day lol


grass mowing is another huge waste, did you know that dandelions are edible and a higher form of iron than spinach, who knows what other health giving properties are in dandelions.. theres alot of natural /free food growing right in our backyards but we are never taught the important shit growing up
