Repubs like Cantor REFUSED to say what they'll do to combat Rand Paul and other tea party winners claim that they'll immediately cap the US debt ceiling next year.
Repubs and dems alike let this thing rise every year - as stopping it would put us in default and could have some pretty major consequences.
but these tea party candidates ran on stopping it - and Rand Paul reaffirmed last night he'd do whatever it takes to cap it.
So what happens now? Does the repub establishment talk the tea party members into "raising it just this one time..." lol? Or do these new congressmen, within the next 6 months, initiate a worldwide shift in power as the US defaults on its debt?
My guess is that they cave - they become regular politicians... they say "we are working to change it, but just this once we'll roll with the establishment"...
