When he starts a family, he won't have to worry about a mortgage, food, car, kid's activity fee, etc...

He'll live in a great house in a great neighborhood and give his family a great life.  

Any type of ass he made out of himself will fade over time, but the financial rewards from it will not.  Of course, he'll still have his credibility hit on getbig, but he should be able to deal with that.

Once you raise a family it becomes increasing clearer how cool it would have been to do something "stupid" like that in your 20s.
