Smoking anything is bad for the lungs, at least its not cancerous and deadly! Ideally one would use a vaporizer which is much cleaner and better for your throat and lungs.

People want to smoke X but in the USA all bars and restaurants are banned from smoking. I'm thinking of building a underground bunker for smokers could be a good business.

a vaporizer is still burning the marijuana, it still uses a heating mechanism, the combustion of weed is how it all happens

The fact that marijuana is illegal is one of the ultimate injustices of our time. It is just absolutely ridiculous that a person can get put in jail for smoking a plant that makes you peaceful and relaxed.

Yeah smoking may be harmful for the lungs but no one said you have to smoke a joint, you can vaporize and cook with cannabis if you want to. Those who choose to smoke should be aware of the dangers, just like you are when you buy tobacco. It says "smoking kills" on a pack of cigs but it's still legal, perhaps there could be prerolled joints in a pack in the future where it could say "smoking cannabis may harm your lungs" or something to that effect. One can only hope.

A better example is deep fried anything versus steamed cooked.

Again weed is on the same line of health as cheeze burgers. If you use a bong it's much cleaner or bong/vap combo, and it's usually saves you alot of money. However these healthy ways of consuming are a pain in the ass to deal with, as these items are impossible to find without paying for overpriced garbage.

But i don't even know why were having this arguement, thecoach is a steriod user, way worst for your health(please don't even begin to try that arguement), not to mention he has no problem with booze.

A bong or vaporizer are not to expensive dude... for example this one,a vapor pipe for 55$ that has gotten good reviews -  check it out http://www.vaporgenie.com/Classic.html.

55 bucks is still expensive I mean I only smoke once a month tops even less most of the time. However I can't just have one sitting around without having to hide it from people etc. And ordering shit that should be found in stores is a pain in the ass.

If you smoke that infrequently then I don't think lung problems should be a worry for you at all. 55 bucks isn't alot for someone who smokes a bit.

I've smoked pot off and on for almost 14 years.

I definately believe in its usefulness and that it has a place in society.

I don't really smoke anymore, but every once in a while i'll dive into the secret stash and get baked on the back porch on a Sunday afternoon.

I think anything can be abused, but i believe that pot is more benefitial to society than drinking. Most people i know who drink often are assholes, most people i know who smoke often are laid back cool individuals. Some of the most interesting people i have ever met were potheads.

I don't see the big deal really, it helps expand your mind and changes the way you view reality, i think more people NEED to smoke pot and just chill. It really is harmless for the most part. If people want to get high then let them, i don't see why people are so against pot, seems most that are against pot are uneducated on the topic or never even smoked it.

I might just go home and get high tonight...
