I posted what was fucking reported in the indian and UK media.  I did not make the figure up on my own fool. 

And as I showed earlier in the thread - this trip will be staggering in its costs, whether its 50 million a day, 100 million day, whatever.

I admitted I was wrong on those.

I take her at her word - she was 7 months preggo with a known Downs child - her water broke at 5 am.  Then, she waited 12 hours to give a speech, and then took two airplane flights to alaska from TX.

I believe her.  It's her baby.  Did she exercise HORRIBLE judgment?  YES.  Absolutely.  each baby comes out faster than the next, so it was a miracle she was able to hold in a child without water - for 22 hours - but I believe her.  Why would she lie?

So yeah - I was wrong to say it wasn't her baby.  But I do think something is broken in any woman's brain who will wait 22 hours on a premature downs baby - and take 2 flights. 

Now, back to your thread, just admit you got one wrong, we all watch some football and bang our womenfolk.  life is good.

As for the whole idea of Obama's trip to India.

It would be interesting to see a review of the trip in six months or a year. See if it paid off.

I think it's good that expenses for politicians are being investigated. Always.

But there is a big problem when it's started off by what seems like a lie.

And it sucks to read that some journalists - in one of the articles you posted 3366 - doesn't seem to care too much about that lie.

What would be interesting right now, is to see a review of that Indonesian trip (earlier this year) and how it played out for the tax payers.

Did it help export/import?

What is the payback?


The question shouldn't be - how much does it cost.

But rather - what do we get for it?

What will the US tax payers get from Obama going to India?

I think that's the real issue.

Of course we are. 

BTW - this trip is for one reason that Obama and the other TEAM KNEEPAD reps won't discuss - TREASURY BONDS 

Obama's fiscal policies are so reckless and obscene that the Chinese are no longer buying our bonds in massive numbers to finance our deficit and spending orgy.  They no longer have confidence that we can repay our debts and are instead buying oil, gasoline reserves, gold, rare minerals, etc etc. 

So this leaves Obama with two options: 

1.  Cut spending domestically and drastically.

2.  Look for a new sucker to buy our bonds to finance our debt and spending addiction. 


India looks like it is making a deal to buy our bonds and in return we ship them more of our jobs as collateral. 

Sad but true.
