The Discus, Shotput, and Hammer Throwers of the 60's-80's were monsters, Strength levels the top of the elite level was at or just below the top Olympic lifters or Powerlifters of the time.

 It doesn't matter what sport you play. If you slam needles full of test and tren into your ass, and hit the wrights, you'll get pretty damn big.

 A a male ballerina would get huge if they slam the drugs and shit the weights. It's not the sport they play that causes the growth.

Very true.  When I was a skinny twink was when   I could throw a football the furtherest.....has more to do with shoulder flexibilty and being able to over-rotate....

its funny to see how openly roided the guys in the 70s and 80s were


they still are, but there is a lot more specificity involved, and the use isnt as excessive as in the 70s or 80s when no one was monitoring it


some of thos older dudes looked more like bosybuilders

That's one of the reasons why all of the Throwing World Records seem so out of reach to throwers of today. 

Barnes was a massive roid freak.

Sedykh had amazing technique, but roid use in the USSR was big over there too. 

The record in the discus also seems to be going nowhere anytime soon, and even some who got caught juicing in recent years cant match it.
