Bills only because they are rebuilding, started the year with a QB who aint even on the roster and RB. Now if they only had a D line they would be solid

buffalo bills went to 4 straight super bowls never been done before, also lost all 4 in a row..... Still a very strong 4 years

The detroit lions 0-16 is the worst in history.... And yet year after year, The NFL continues to show them on Thanks Giving....  :-\

If you guys had to watch the Panthers every week, I don't have the NFL package, you would know they are one of the worst teams ever.....at least offensively.....and they have some talent on offense too......sad.

I am assuming that the heart of the question means the worst overall season, not worst franchise history.

The obvious choices would include the 2008 Lions (0-16), 1976 Bucs (0-14, then started 1977 0-12 before winning the last two), and the Lions were (0-11) in one of the early NFL years.

But there have been plenty of miserable teams that managed to win (or tie) a game or two...

Yeh, but the Browns won a bunch of NFL titles and has had some of the best players ever. The Vikes and Bills have won 4 conference titles, SD won an AFL title, Eagles and Lions have won titles as well. Carolina, Jax, and Houston are too new to include. I'd go with Atlanta; 1 NFC title, only 9 playoff years in 43 seasons, and a terrible win%.
