LOL @ Vietnamese kicking the "dog shit" out of American. We won every single pitched battle in that war. Everyone. Even during the Tet offensive which was portrayed as a defeat for the U.S. and changed support for the war, we destroyed them.
We didn't lose. We simply left. Which is of course what the libs want us to do today in Afghanistan and Iraq.

Afghans are lot tougher. The Swiss? LOL? They just don't fight. They were "neutral" during WW2. Awesome moral leadership and an example of how bad ass they are. I'm sure they are good people but they are irrelevant in world affairs.

Well, according our Alpha experts here, Audie at -what?- 125lbs, wouldn't even make the bench, but he had something that none of us will ever have. Salute is right.

the 125 was clearly dieting down for a contest....not to mention that doesn't take into account that each of his balls weight 50lbs.

Being from North Carolina (specifically the area where Apenis and Goodrum live) doesn't seem to be a good thing

I just want to state for the record that Goodrum is not from where he lives, and TA is from somewhere 4 or so hours away from that area.....don't want to insult the good people of western north carolina..... 8)

Never said England didn't do their part. They weren't fighting in 3 parts of the world at once, though.

The British fought in Europe,Africa, and the Far East in WWII

Speaking of. I remember way back when, I saw an essay -Tom Wolfe? - that geographically detailed all the medal of Honor winners, and a totally predominant # of them came from the Southern States. Now, I don't know if that reflected a lot of Civil War recipients, but it really looked significant. Anyone else?

that is an interesting topic....I've never really looked into it, but I would think it would be the other way around if it was in reference to the Civil War.....  you got my cloudy little brain something to look into now..... ;D

Try, Tom Wolfe. And, not Thomas Wolfe - he was another kettle of fish, altogether.

Found a site that lists from each state......and NC and SC only had 1 each for the Civil War.....Va had 10....of course.....Tenn 3.....didn't look at the rest, but it doesn't look the numbers would be skewed by the CW.....  Vietnam is where there were a ton of them handed out, comparitively.

And Thomas Wolfe is from Asheville, NC...not too far from where I grew up.

Good on you. I got sidetracked by Wolfe's essay on Junior Johnson, and then I drifted to Thunder Road with Robert Mitchum, and then I ordered a pie...stay the course, bro.  ;D

I didn't see that one coming.

trust me, goodrums type (queer/fag) ain't too welcome in these parts,  I mean we still have a sectionalized area where blacks live and even the old blacks only schools.

as for Apenis,  well whats next? Ron from WNC?
