How can anyone lower middle class or better be a liberal?

I don't get this. What does social liberalism offer to anyone who isn't dependent on public assistance programs, union membership or other governement protections?

The democratic party as we once knew it does not even exist anymore. They have been completely engulfed and this takeover has spread its way through the GOP as well...time will tell if the new GOP blood will be able to take the party over and return it to its traditional role or if they'll cave and be engulfed as well.

When's the last time one of the democrats actually sided with the American populace and didn't spend most of their time thumbing their noses at the inferior, subhuman American citizens? All I can think of after watching that is Pelosi and co. applauding the President of Mexico's verbal assault on US citizens in front of the White House.

Most don't.  Most libs are all about theft, stealing, redistribution of wealth, forcing others to pay for their lazy asses, bogus economic theories, crying about health are crying about welfare, always expanding the social welfare state, etc etc.
