I think I started out at $5.15 in my first real job (income reported to feds). When you are a teenager who doesn't have to pay rent, it's fine. Paying bills and food was ok on it. But if I had to pay rent, forget about it.

lol..what exactly did they do?  lol....I'd rather have unions than not...just look back to the beginning of the 20th century for all the horror stories of mistreated over worked underpaid workers...Americans have shown they are worse with less regulations....Greed, greed, greed....But like Gordon Greco says, "Greed is good"...

The first week, I was a cartboy, I got a tan so dark, I was your complexion...I made mad tips though...and then i discovered that when a electrical (thunderstorm storm arises or apporaches, my forearm hair rises...I can forecast a thunderstorm...like clockwork...all thanks to being a cartboy!

i worked for minimum wage once out of boredom....it was for one of my friends when he opened his gym.....i got a check every week....i worked there for 8-9 weeks...just long enough for him to staff the place....i might have actually cashed 1 check..
