Congrats on buying a house. I think it's still one of the best investments out there because at least you'll always have a place to live. I was well into my thirties before I could buy anything and it was an "OK" townhouse. Housing is so damn expensive here in Hawaii. I paid over three times what my brother paid for his house in Georgia and his is practically twice the size and he bought it brand new.

well things are diff for me now
i purchased a house and i will be renting it soon-more details to follow

i went to new york on friday to celebrate
the parking garage was busy and i had to park in a diff area of it-this will come into play later in my recap

i got to the station and bought my ticket-but i didnt know whether it was off peak or peak-i always go on sat and its off peak but i wasnt sure bout fridays...so after i got the ticket and metro card i asked a mean guy in the window and he told me i was wrong-so he refunded my credit card-i wanted to get the 450 train and i thought i missed it but i was able to get it just-thus began the 1st of many close calls of the night

the train wasnt busy and i was able to get a good seat-there was a group of loud people drinking beers behind me-i hate people who drink beer on the train-so annoying-soi was able to stretch out on my seat and snooze a bit-there were no stops except for harlem i think

so finally we got to grand central and i found the bathroom fast-no line-not crowded
then i went to juniors and got some blueberry cheesecake-it was great-tasted amazing

then i went to get on the subway but i got a bit lost-it had been some time since i last went to nyc so i was a bit rusty-but finally i found the subway area

the subway pulled up right when i got there and it wasnt crowded which was great

i got off at spring street and walked to lombardis
they said the wait would be 40 mins-but it only turned out to be 20 mins

they sat us in the basement dining room of lombardis-i did not like it
the pizza was good though-real good

there were these loud english tourists next to us-they all oreder calzones which annoyed me-they should have gotten pizza being its famous-and they were xcited about getting a pitcher of beer-shut up for fucks sake

then we got back on the subway which was again not busy and made it back to grand central
then i got a slice of pumpkin swirl cheesecake which was so good-much better than cheesecake factory
i also got a pretzle from the pretzle stand at grand central-that was great-im happy that i dont need to seek out the street carts anymore for good soft pretzels

i picked up the new mens fitness with the situation on it and ate my pretzle on the train ride home while reading it-waste of money for sure-dumb stuff

so finally its a bit late at night and i go to find my car-but cant find it!! i spent 45 mins looking for it
i was hoping it didnt get stolen so i went to the security office
this weird guy came out to help me
i explained what happened to him and it was apparent he was a bit slow in the head-he wondered if i parked in the garage down the road and i told him no
he began rambling a lot about diff colors on the wall and how i prob forgot which color i parked by even though i told him it was 1 orange
i told him there was another car that looked like mine up there, and he told me that the chances of another car that was just like mine was impossible and doesnt seem right-he asked me if i tried to open the car and i said of course not
then he told me he knew what was going on-that thiieves had switched license plates on my car like they did to his dads car
finally the supervisor came and he asked her if he should handle it or her-she went with me and we walked for half an hour and finally found it

i then got in my car hungry and tired-i ended up drivng out the wrong exit and made it home to have a greek yogurt and get to bed

Be careful who you rent to ... they could do a lot of damage to your place then up and leave .. there's not so nice people out there
