No offense intended but the above type of post makes me role my eyes. "Not Much" really? And the "Peak" comment, come on, are you seriously stating that? The U.S. has been the dominating world force of the post WWII era, no other country comes even close.
Facts:
*The U.S. is still the dominating military force. Push comes to shove no military force on earth could withstand the full brunt of the U.S. military.
Perhaps, ...but what happens when the US military can no longer afford to function?
*The economic success or failures of the U.S. effect the rest of the world unlike any other countries.
True, but the economic failure of the US, might perhaps have a
positive impact on some.
*U.S. pop culture is by far the most influential and dominating in the world...this can be a good and bad thing, lol!
True
*The welfare of other nations greatly depends on U.S. material purchases more so than any other nation. The U.S. citizens stop buying and other nations feel the pain.
True to some degree. However there are countries like China who have a huge untapped domestic market for their goods and services were the US to become unable to continue consuming for whatever reason. Countries like mine (Canada) could be royally sodomized by a US economic crash, but China will be fine.
