At the Buffet-Americans, Weight and Manners
« on: November 15, 2010, 10:36:40 PM »
I was recently at a (chain) Buffet, where now they you have to pay for your drinks, if you don't pay you have to drink water---yet they have no way to enforce it. They have made the plates smaller, and moved the tables closer together.

98.9% of the people there were obese, and some even had lil motorized scooters to get their fat asses to the food, which ironically they scootered over to the most fattening dishes.

People do not know or don't care to remove their hats in a restaurant--just eat like you are at home--outside. Heard one guy complain how the girl he was on a date siad he had no manners---maybe the fact that you are eating with your hat on in a restaurant and are talking with your mouth full of food.

Some idiot had clogged up one of the sinks in the men's bathroom, and a guy who had his lil daughter with hi said, "Fvking adults, worse than the Fvking kids, they have no Fvking respect. Fvk em!", Which I thought was very ironic because here he is with his 2 yr old daughter cursing like a sailor, yet complaining about adults...

Kids who run around the dessert table, and eat up all the dessert---that was their main dish, dinner for them encompassed soda, Apple Pie, Cherry cobbler, Apple Crisp, Ice cream, and a pudgy stomach.

Mind you, this was NOT a ghetto place, but I seriously hate eating out with my fellow "Americans".

I ate at Cracker Barrel in Knoxville with a hat on last year.  I didn't even think about it until I was leaving, and to this day I feel like a jackass...  :-\

buffets, are the absolute worst,

i do not enjoy eating out much, because i dont like to see the eating habits of others while i myself eat. sit down places are ok , and i usually look around real quick as im being seated, and if i see some disgusting pig in my vantage point, ill ask for somewhere else to sit.

but the buffet, holy shit your asking for it there. i mean its not even a good deal to eat at them, usually 15 bucks or so per person, and the food is shitty. when i was younger buffets was fun because it seemed like you were getting a good deal if you ate allot. now, its not worth seeing the pigs that are seated near you while you eat. i do not like the cafeteria setting of a buffet. and fighting to get the food cause people just walk in front of you with no manners, like fucking cows.  its just not worth it. even if it were 5 fucking bucks to eat.

i really have a problem with fat people. i always have.

Hahaha…my mother and older sister got upset at an all-you-eat because the Mexican kids were running wild putting their hands in all the food.   :)

i've never heard of that
Well, Annapolis, Maryland a long time ago used to be the capital of the United States. Annapolis, Maryland is home to the US Naval Academy (and gets very, very crowded for anything dealing with it). It is on the Eastern seaboard, and also features the largest estuary in the world, the Chesapeake Bay.

Truly, oOne time  in college I went to a Catus Willy's Buffett, all these morbidly obese people came marching in, and they sat in a building within the buffett,  ad ate up all the food.Another time, there were again, people wearing hats in the same Buffett as before, watching a Orioles game on a lil TV. WTF, you are with your family...and DON'T let it be on a SUNDAY. that is when the Buses come with the church folk...who beleive that they are entitled to everything...you'd think Church going folk would be humble, but noooo they will push you out of the way to get to the bacon and sausage.

One time, there was this kid who was in the bathroom, he did #2, didn't wash his hands, and he comes out and starts putting his hands in the food, taste testing them. I asked him where his mother was and why was he sticking his dirty hands in the food. He knew he was wrong, I told his mother and told the manager. The manager had them removed, but not after the mother had a hissy fit, because she wasn't finished her plate of popcorn shrimp...

good for you man.

more people need to speak up like that.

i was in walmart against my better judgment last year, and im with my friend who is from LA and we are in the shitty border town where i live. well we see this little kid running around with no mother in sight and no clothes on other than a diaper. and my friend looks at me and says, "in LA  people would not stand for that. they would let that mother know she is a fuck up". and it occurred to me how much of a factor  that where you live effects the quality of your life. even if you have a good outlook on life you still will run into these dregs of society.  well ive not been back to walmart since, and im moving north next summer.

sorry to be off topic parker,

just wanted to share that.

No prob, It just burns me, you can eff with my money, you eff with my woman, but you don't dare eff with my food. Food is life, and when i saw that lil idiot doing that after he just took a shit and ran out the bathroom...and he was just having agood ol time sticking his fingers in the food, like "plop" then he would stick it in his mouth and say, "hmmm!", and then go on to the next one...

Walmart is the place to see the real "America", people talking about the "dirty" muslims yet they are scratching their crotches---and then want to shake someone's hand. They talk about how the damn Chinese are going take over the nation, yet everything in their cart wa made in China, and don't point it out to them, because, apparently Vietnam, Mexico and China are all in the same place.

yes, it does. I was alays taught manners, and to take one's hat off in a building such  as a restaurant. Standards have become so lax, but yet everybosy expects to be treated like kings. We could go into napkins, or the way people eat. I remember this one dude was eating with his girlfriend's family. He was using his fingers to help get the peas and dumplings up...yeah, great you are eating with her folks and you don't know how to eat properly. Then he was talking with a mouthful of food.

I need not be reminded how people act like ill mannered pups, then wonder why they didn't get the service or the reward they wanted (such as a second date), then claim that the other person is a bitch, etc.

Yes, but NASA declined it because they were afraid that it would block out the sun for a few months and then shower the earth in a rain of frying fat...  :-X :-X :-X
