The bottom line is when the Repubs were in power and bringing such things as The Patriot Act, the left was screaming about it while the right was all for it. Now that administrations have changed, and the left has all that power, those on the right scream about expansion of that power... and will continue to scream until the administration changes hands again, ...at which point those on the left will start vocalizing again.
Don't you all get it? Stop playing this stupid left / right game.
The powers that be, have you all playing one huge game of musical chairs.
It has always been the same people playing the music, and each time it stops, you have one less freedom.
Get over this left / right paradigmn, and identify the assholes for who they are... while you still can.
