Eat Ezekiel Bread
« on: November 18, 2010, 12:10:12 PM »
Not because the fridge does, because it tastes good, low glycemic index (36) (not spiking your blood sugar levels), ZERO flour, all wheat, spelt or rye, barley, millet, lentils, great
northern beans, kidney beans, and pinto beans.

I use it whenever I don't want to eat a potato, oats, couscous,  or kasha...zero guilt...I suggest you try it, you won't regret it...

The End

Sounds like you're over thinking your diet.

This time next year you'll probably still have lots of weight to lose.

TIP: Get your mind off food. Stay busy with day to day activities.

Don't obsess over grilled vs boiled chicken etc....... Just get some weight off.

hell yeah, I make myself hamburgers instead of eating some fucking rice or some potatoes

way tastier.

but as far as the "glycemic index" thing, Layne norton said that if people really knew how much glycemic index affect the body, nobody would give a shit.

don'T know why I am not the one who did all those studies

I agree, the glycemic index is overrated.

lol...I've been eating Ezekiel Bread even before I changed the way I eat (not a diet)...It's just an overall superior bread in taste and plus you don't have to worry about the bs they put on other American breads...

Trust me, I'm not over thinking it...take your Adonis Principles elsewhere....I cook as a hobby and enjoy what I eat..I'm not dry boneless chicken breast and rice guy...there's so many options out there people can enjoy but most like to keep it simple and after a couple weeks they quit out of lack of variety....

You care to put some money on your second statement?

Ezekiel 4:9-15 (New International Version)

9 “Take wheat and barley, beans and lentils, millet and spelt; put them in a storage jar and use them to make bread for yourself. You are to eat it during the 390 days you lie on your side. 10 Weigh out twenty shekels of food to eat each day and eat it at set times. 11 Also measure out a sixth of a hin of water and drink it at set times. 12 Eat the food as you would a loaf of barley bread; bake it in the sight of the people, using human excrement for fuel.” 13 The LORD said, “In this way the people of Israel will eat defiled food among the nations where I will drive them.”

14 Then I said, “Not so, Sovereign LORD! I have never defiled myself. From my youth until now I have never eaten anything found dead or torn by wild animals. No impure meat has ever entered my mouth.”

15 “Very well,” he said, “I will let you bake your bread over cow dung instead of human excrement.”

The GI index is a sham and is not endorsed at all by any medical school or medical association.  The American Diabetic Association does not even recognize it as being valid.

The bottom line is total caloric intake and nothing else.  The GI index is useless and completely pointless.

I use a sprouted whole grain bread with zero-flour myself, is that the same as Ezekiel bread?  As it doesn't say Ezekiel on it.

Main reason I eat is is because each slice has 5 grams of fiber, and I don't like veggies so I don't get much fiber from other sources and the high-fiber bread makes it easy for me to get my intake.

Your goals better still include going all in on a massive cycle.   ;)

I agree! The best bread I have ever tasted, but it's hard to find.

I think it shouldn't be that hard to make your self! It's only a few ingredients after all.

how is the fat loss going ?

It's going great...

So, over the Spring and Summer I averaged two meals per day and they were when I was high...It was all crap...So my metabolism was pretty fucked up....I would only eat when I was high because didn't have an appetite when I wasn't high...the result?  lost a ton of muscle and had a slow metabolism...After I decided to quit, I had to relearn how to eat not high so for the first week I was force feeding...mainly carbs in the forms of fruit and complex carbs...I have some sort machine that measures bf% and at that point it measures 30% bf :-X :-X :-X at 254lbs...

As the weeks passed and I felt more comfortable, I began to eat more food, nothing crazy only about 150-200mg of protein, unlimited raw veggies and complex carbs...I forgot to note, that I also started going back to the gym the day after I quit pot and changed the way I ate...The first week I did nothing but 30 min of cardio 5 day per week just to get used to being in the gym...

Week 2 I incorporated weights but only 2 sets per exercise for a total of 8 sets total for a bodypart...I was weak as fuck very, very pathetic looking and I felt like shit doing it...
Every week after I added another set up until now doing 20-25 sets per bodypart except arms I just do 25 sets overall for bis and tris...BTW I still do cardio 4-5 times per week...Initially I was doing the cardio before my workout just walking at 2.7 rate on a 4.5 incline for 30 min...it was more of a long warm up for my pathetic workouts the first two weeks...Now I do the cardio separate at 3.0-3.2 on 4.5-5.0 incline for 30 min and will adjust as my body becomes acclimated...

For the first time I started using a post workout drink to replenish my glycogen storage and to aid in recovery it has BCAAs and glycerol in it also...I notice a HUGE difference in recovery not because of that brand per say but because I've never done it in 16 years of working out...

I'm up to four meals per day but still keeping protein at 200 mg per day because contrary to popular belief I feel alot of bodybuilders consume to much protein and it all ends up being stored as fat...So my days of 350mg are over...I also have no plans of eating 6 + meals per day...The main reason for people doing that, was to keep the metabolic rate up but when you are on a ton of shit...i.e. t-3, epherdrine, clen, DNP etc...this more than takes care of the fat being burned...Because my goal is not to look like a 260 lb guy, I can chill out out...One thing to note is that most of my carbs are consumed in my morning meal...(breaking the 8 hours fast...aka...break-fast) and post workout (100gms.)... the others are spread between the other two meals...I've noticed I have a ton of energy throughout the day and great energy during the workout...Some days, I cycle the carbs so my body gets tricked...

So as of this week, (1 month and 1 week later) I'm I'm now 257lbs at 27% bf...while that may sound bad, remember how much muscle I said I lost...it's clear that I lost bf (3%) but I've gained the muscle back I lost...So I have decided to do my first cycle in three years but nothing crazy...It will consist of 800mg of test e and 600 mg of Eq....I'll eventually add some gh at 4 i.u..per day..I'm going to stay on that not changing the dose for at least 12 weeks so I really can't go by the scale because of the muscle I'll gain..it will have to be my bf analyzer and the mirror...

I did my first shot on Saturday and 2nd shot today...I don't know what is working but my traps and shoulders have already blown out and swollen, I wake up in the morning and my cock is hard like I'm 15 all this week...that never happens to me...even though I'm still fat I can see veins starting to show in my arms that were not visable last week and I had a workout with "crotch" yesterday and I hung in there ok...much to my surprise...I also started 1 50mg t-3 tab as I've always had success with t-3 in the past...I'm not a clen or ephedrine guy and because I'm not in a hurry, I'll just continue to lose the fat through the diet, the gym and t-3...

BTW my protein sources are chicken, eggs, turkey and seafood...I only eat red meat once every couple months as I don't like the way I feel after I eat it...I rarely drink a protein shake.

That's it...I guess I should take pics while I'm still fat..I'll have wife to do it tonight or tomorrow...

I like the Ezekiel Bread also,  it's pretty much the only grains I really ever care to eat.
