Author Topic: Gustavo Baddell, healthy and still 230lbs (Read 5135 times)

I saw Gustavo Baddel, the other day at Golds. I dont care what you say about Gustavo, Badeel, but he is a total gentlemen, The guy always walks up to me asks how I am doing and then asks how my family is doing. Gustavo is very polite in person. He isnt one of these bodybuilders that does X, or g4p. He is a family man. He has a beutiful wife, and cute children.

Gustavo right now has been off of everything, and been promoting shows in Ireland. He wants to promote shows in Las Vegas as well. He plans on making a comeback next year. He wanted to let his body rest, and clean out his receptors, which is a smart thing to do. Most pro bodybuilders dont do this, that is why Palumbosim sets in.The body gets saturated with hormones, and starts to look horrible.

If your smart, you will take time off. Kevin Levrone was somewhat smart with his approach. He would weigh around 200-210lbs, and then get on gear and diet up for a show. I think he took it a little to far with the off season, but it worked for him. I think Gustavo has 2 good years in him left. I think with the break from hormones, and the mental rest he could do some damage.

He did place 3rd at the Mr Olympia and won the posing round at the Mr O.So he is no slouch. The guy is a force to be reckon with if he pulls it together.Yes he is aggressive on stage, but he says, because he is hungry to win. He wants to win, and wants to provide well for his family. I wish the best for Guustavo, he is a great guy, and hopefully he will nail it again, and be a top contender.

Saw Gustavo at the Olympia Expo. Looked ten years younger but hardy looked like he trains.

Good for Gustavo. He always was cool backstage, altough much harder to compete against the newer generation of bodybuilders (placed 11th at the Arnold Classic in 2009, and 13th at the Olympia in 2009 - I think his last contest he competed in).

He does have a family now, but great he wants to stay in the industry, and promote.

Gustavo is one of the nicest pro's ive ever met

No offense Ron but what options do these guys have? It's not like these guys have a good track record of planing for the future in regards to qualifications.
99% of them put all their time and money in the dream which never fully materializes, than its health problems - kids - families and no one is interested in you

When Gustavo flexed in Golds and said, all Natural, he went no Synthol, or oil in his biceps.You see Gustavo is bi-lingual so when he talks he says things that resemble but isnt the exact word.
Gustavo, looked husky, and thick.He loooked like a big guy, who worked out, but not a pro.
He looked 230lbs, his face looked good and sucked in.You can tell he still has alot of mature muscle.
He was wearing baggy clothe, but he filled them out.
Gustavo, I think carried most of his quality in him hamstrings and legs not biceps.
He was known for his thick leg sepration in the quad and hamstrngs.
Bay, leave Gustavo alone, he is a cool , guy, he isnt one of these drug pushing dick su#$# g4p closets casses, like DA, or the rest of them.He actually is a family man, who is a straight guy.

Gustavo isnt one of these, he has morals, and values his family.He isnt putting on a front for the fans like the 2 I mentioned above

I could tell you that there is guys like Marcus Ruhl, who is gay, and Ronnie Rockel who is also gay.
I known Marcu Ruhl, had a wife be he also had a bf.

The 3rd place at 2005 Olympia would have upped his G4P price for that season, hope he cashed in and worked overtime on those schmoes
