It's sunset there now and there hasn't been any recent fire between the two so that will probably be the end of that. I was kind of waiting up to see if something else happened, guess I'll go to bed now that war isn't breaking out, heh.

Usually there's something in the "agreement" that mentions margin calls. However, these days such things would be done via email, or a notice when you log into your account. However, the broker is more likely to just liquidate your positions when your equity percentage drops below a certain percent.

I haven't gotten an actual margin call (on the phone) since ~ mid 2000 when I was trying to trade bond futures

If that is the case, why didn't they attack the US military ships back in July while they did drills and dropped anti-sub bombs? This was a few months after North Korea had sunk a South Korean warship.

NK responding to SK running military drills i believe. NK is worried that it's future heir will be seen and is seen as weak, so it's stepping up it's aggression. Notice also they had an American tour a state of the art nuclear facility. They are trying to protect the son and the Jong-Il dynasty.
