I dont know if anyone else has spend any amount of time reading (studying) at star bucks.  Because of those bastards i have a severe head cold/fever right now. I know i shouldn't be posting here but FUCK me this needs to be said and maybe more people will go complain on their website....

....i noticed them starting to do this around 3 months ago....when  they'd see too many people studying in there (its in a college town) they'd turn up the music to the point that you'd hear it even with ear plugs in.

recently ...about 2 months ago they had started turning the temperature down also...you'd feel the AC come on and you'd literally see everyone in there put their jackets on...but it hasn't stopped there...they turn it down till you r shivering inside your jacket. Eventually the crowd of regulars decreased except me and my buddy...we really dont have anyone else to go at 6 am in the morning...and today they won...they finally FUCKING got me sick...3 hrs i shivered my ass off before i finally left instead opting to drive an hour away to study in a more comfy spot...but the damage is done...i'm fucking sick

No, here in America, we have starbucks in our school libraries.
My college had one, right next to a "No food or drinks" sign. Nobody follow that tho. We would bring large pizzas and drinks up to the quiet floors all the time.

its usually the white college students i see bringing in outside food and making a dollar cup of coffee last...between 6 am and 4 pm i usually end up spending around $ 15 in there plus another 5 or so in tips...

i spend around 12 to 14 hrs daily working on my lab at home...months at an end...when i have to do book work its nice to get out of my room

and i'm not there to use their shitty wifi

Lol that's like 2 bucks an hour. On average people spend like 5 bucks there for 15 minute sit.
No store like that wants people just sitting there, and you come here to complain. I got no problem with foriengers that try to blend in, but people that come in push limits of what's accpetable is a bit much, and I got many of friends that aren't canadian, and most of my friends and family have a fair amount of nate blood in them.
This is about culture, not race, I don't like american's either but I don't  here them complaining about getting kicked out of coffee houses' for being cheap and rude.

 When I was a college student I studied in coffee shops all the time too. Because when I study at home I can't focus on my studies. It's too easy to get distracted and do other things, but at a coffee shop there's nothing else to do but study.

 I always avoided Starbucks though. Fuck spending money on overpriced shit, just to make billionare corporations even richer.

how much caffeine do you want me to intake? 99% of the people in that starbucks buy 1 cup of coffee and stay for 6 plus hours...i've seen business meetings, interviews...moms with strollers that dont buy jack shit and just sit there and yap (while annoying me)...fuck i've seen college kids bring in outside food and drink...
