Bullseye.

The Hardy's, Jeff especially, could have made tons more money had he kept his dumb ass clean and stuck with WWE. They were prepared to offer him a 3 year deal worth 750,000 per year + merchandising sales. The guy is a drugged up moron as is his crybaby brother.

They're both trailer trash. Typical example of two guys who have lots of cash but yet live in the ghetto. I guarantee you they live in shacks and drive shit boxes despite both of them being sucessful and as I mentioned before, they could have made way more money on top of what they were getting had they both been smarter about their life decisions, Jeff especially.

Oh boy.

Where to start with this one?

Shut up and wrestle, don't burn your bridges. Don't switch a video camera on when you're bombed out of your brain. Don't put it on youtube............ And your ex is off limits if you want any dignity.

I like these guys as wrestlers. Think I'll work at keeping the mystery going by avoiding them when they speak.

Sounds like a plan.

Where did these two schmucks think they were going with this? They just look like to doped out hillbillys. Then the fat one makes the comment about the ex girl. Whats their beef with Punk anyway?

I can answer that.

Jeff has a bone to pick with Punk becuase of the comments he made after Jeff's arrest and drug abuse. He did it in charactor in a WWE ring on Smackdown just after Jeff left the WWE and got arrested. Jeef nneds to understand that Punk was only doing what WWE creative told him to do and that it was in charactor. Not personal.

Matt has a bone to pick with him because Punk banged Lita at one point and Matt found out about it. Matt seems to be a crybaby at best. They both need to grow up IMO.

I quite liked Jeff in WWE, but his success was built on charisma and a willingness to do crazy shit, cos his promo's weren't that great!  Especially during his feud with Punk.  All his constant problems just made me lose respect for him, and since leaving WWE he's been on a constant downward spiral, and I wouldn't be at all surprised to see him found dead one day.

This video is about what I'd expect from him, and Matt as well, as two people who could have had it, probably realise that fact, and are now bitter about it.  Instead of trying to fix their own problems, they're flinging shit at people who are actually doing well.

What pisses me off is that Jeff has such amazing potential. He was on such a role with WWE and then he goes and starts dealing junk.

I see a lot of mention here about how the HB’s could have had it all and missed out on the chance to reach their fullest potential.

The Hardy’s started wrestling in 1993.
They worked as jobbers in “The Fed” before being signed full-time in ’98.

Seventeen years as an active wrestler is a long career; particularly with a style like theirs.
I tip my hat to the success they’ve had.
But, I really don’t know what more they could have hoped to accomplish that they haven’t already.

Again, I like them, but I think they’ve gone as far as they can no matter where or how much longer they work.
They probably could have prolonged the apex a bit by riding high with a WWE paycheck, but - for all intents and purposes - I honestly believe they’ve reached their pinnacle.

I think Matt had probably reached his heights and was essentially cruising along for a few years.  I never felt he had much drive to push himself into the title frame again after that.

Jeff was on the cusp of making it big time.  He was the biggest face they had and won the HW title, and that could have been the start of the best years of his career.  When they get to that point, that's when they have to prove just how good they are by continuing to push, continuing to improve, and creating a legacy.  I don't think he had that extra motivation, and saw winning the title as the pinnacle of his career, not another chapter to it.

This. And whether their body can hold up to the abuse.

Something has to give.

It's the part of wrestling that vexes me. Seeing some old timers broken up and the new guys putting themselves on the line.

I keep seeing the Dynamite Kid in a wheel chair........

Hope having a kid wakes Jeff up.

This is the key phrase.

Also, Mont did bring up a good point. They've both been wrestling since 1993 and 17 years of wrestling hardcore will take a toll.

Jeff just had a daughter too, you figured that would be a wakeup call to get off whatever he's on..I respect Matt, he's worked through a lot of injuries and all of Jeff's bs, but he really has to get over that Lita stuff. It's been what, 5 years?

I think that Jeff turned the deal down..they offered him a lot, about what you posted. In retrospect, they dodged a bullet because he was arrested right after he left. That would have been terrible PR especially with all the efforts they've made to better the public image.

Is his court date coming up? Does anyone here know the status? I have a funny feeling that he'll get slapped with a probation and fine but who knows....

Intresting, Mass. I read also that he showed up hammered at TNA's latest PPV and was almost kicked off the show but TNA management kept him on and he still performed.

Holy fukk!!
If that's true, TNA should BURN for endangering their contractors like that.
How can you even consider allowing one of your own guys to work a match in that condition - much less be responsible for someone else as well?

It pissed me off when I heard that Fullington did it with the Harris Bros. in ECW.
It pissed me off when I heard some of the stories about Jake Roberts.
It pisses me off now.

I have a very libertarian outlook in regards drug/substance use.
I, personally, don’t indulge in anything stronger than an occasional drink, but I have no problems with what anyone else does provided it doesn’t hurt other people.
You shouldn't drive and/or operate machinery when you're drunk, and you shouldn't perform stunts with or "on" other people.
It's the same kind of danger that can yield the same kind of results!

I’m sure it’s much easier to say this when it’s not your paycheck/spot/job on the line, but I would have refused to work with him if he was, in fact, in that condition.

And if a company was worth two shits, they would pay the guy who showed up ready to go.....or involve him in the show in some other way to get paid.

Confirmed!

Sources are reporting that the reason for TNA considering removing Jeff Hardy from the main event of Final Resolution was that Hardy was “hammered” backstage prior to the event. That is according to two different sources.

It should be noted that firing him was never considered by TNA management. At one point (20 minutes before the pay-per-view went live), TNA considered removing him from the show.

It should also be noted that TNA management considered several replacement matches as well as finding a storyline reason for stripping the title from Hardy, but in the end they decided to stick with the match as planned, which saw Hardy retain the title. Hardy has a court date this Wednesday.

It’ll be interesting to see what happens at the TV tapings this week.
