Whoa whoa WHOA! Before anyone accuses me of being a self-hating white liberal that should be flayed alive, burned and then REALLY hurt, just hang on a second.
This thread is for the appreciation of DECENT black people that hangs their head in shame the moment a pack of n1ggers gets on a bus, rap music blaring from stolen iPods, weighed down by bling, dragging, by colour association, the name of all blacks through the mud. Hang their heads in shame the moment someone like Vince Goodrum opens his eyes in the morning, still alive.
Decent black people that study hard, work hard, and compete hard, not blaming their failures on racism, and feel rightfully proud of their accomplishments. By some questionable standards, I'm fairly new here and have noticed an underlying current of casual racism. I myself has been guilty of that in the past, more out of a superiority complex than actual racism. I suspect it's the norm here rather than the exception.

Last week I found myself in an electrical shop, hunting for fluorescent lights. As I tried communicating with a very unhelpful sales scumbag, a black guy overhearing the conversation walked up to me and introduced himself as an electrician, and asked if perhaps he could help. I thought 'what the hell, can't be worse than the sales clerk', so I explained what I wanted done to my kitchen lights. He told me what I needed, bought them on his business account (I paid) and asked where I lived. Now, when a random black person ask you where you live, you think twice before answering. Right? Anyway, this dude seemed natural and trustworthy, so I told him. It was about 3 miles from the shop. He offered to install them right away and said he would follow me home. I mentally made a note where I kept the baseball bat, and set off for home, him following. Got home, I let us in and he set to work right away. He replaced all my old fluorescent lights in the kitchen and basement, and the shed outside. I kept an eye on him, casually trying to notice if he was having a good look around the house for potential entry points at 3am. He didn't, just focussed on the work.
He completed the work, gave some advice on the ancient wiring in my shed, wished my a good day and set off. I offered some payment but he just laughed and said it was no worries. Glad that he could help, etc.
Been 9 days now and no breaking and entering so far. That was a decent black person.
