who is in your opinnion?
From the front?
Wheeler IMHO. For freak/shock factor, Coleman. I think Dorian is top 2 greatest ever overall, buta hes not best ever from the front.

*EDIT*
Dillet from the front, no doubt. Took me a sec to think about it.

dillet would have been tough against nasser if he could master the basic homosapien posture.

flex had monster delts/arms and narrow chest that just didn't match up.

this is how his back looked like at NOC 95.. not as great as the rest of him but still good enough not to be considered a weak point..

I agree again. Noticeably more detail.

The more and more 98 videos that come out, the more it reaffirms that Ronnie was at at his all-time best. The conditioning and that small waist just make everything so much more impressive. He looks so much better here in 98 with the small waste and smaller thighs because everything is in proportion.

dillet's torso was long and relatively narrow for his huge shoulders and arms..

his quads were great but still nasser's were a little thicker and harder.. both had great calves and dillet's are the best i have ever seen on a black man!!..

from the rear i see nasser better,.. his back was wider and at its best had ok details.. dillet's back looked weired and lacked thickness, hardness, and, shape!!..

imo paul was a great bb but his flaws were enough to always put him after the other top guys of the 90s!!.. he never had a chance with the first 3 places at the olympia like ray, levrone, flex and the wizard!!.. even when he came 4th in 94 it was because flex was out and nasser was still not huge nasser the wizard of truth ;D

ronnie has always had a weird ab structure... obviously you don't win 8 Mr Olympias if you aren't a great bodybuilder...but I have never been a big fan of him. I also think he looked his best before he ever won the mr olympia...like in 96-97.

sure ronnie was great in these years but nasser was somthing else ;)

It's amazing how awesome everyone looked just 12 years ago...

Ronnie absolutely crushes everyone...especially from the back.
Nassole's biceps are loaded with oil, it's very obvious.
Cormier looked really good just didn't have the 3D look...in 99 when he loaded up on slin he was much thicker.
Levrone = OVERRATED...looked good for him.
thought the same, cormier would be arite nowadys too if he had size and same thing about lev, he needed more chst back work and condi evrything else was there but ron destryd him on a fdb ronis arms r sik sperated and big, kev arms look good from the front inthat mmclasp.. nas arms r big but that funky look from poss u kno looks like bunks it for him nd brngs him down,,, btw, noticd he had a hands on hip relaxed pose that crushd kev but thnkn when nas flexd he didnt have that pop,,, that old time "peek-a boo" muscle it was calld back in the day.. not really many pros do for a while i guessn its the supps?
anyways ronnie was just so far ahead of evryone but take ronnie out and those guys still be goin at it today,,, lookit jay was there for a while at 2nd, so was kev, flex too? 8 dif runners up so

ronnie's shape in 98 was great but still his gyno, his weired abs, and, small calves affected his whole package.. his back was amazing but not as hard and thick as dorian's best condition..
yeah,,,that gyno brings the whole thing down for me but sometimes it gets lost and u forget somtim... usd to think same on abs got used to it,, thats really the term genetics rite there, kinda what makes bb'n cool nd unique for every body.. calves r always ovrlookd by most but r vry important,,, somtimes it may be his legs were so big uptop plus he has those high inserts, did c som vids when he did calv, thy lookd kinda big but whn ur close to 300 with low singldigi bf thy outta match nd be there..

to nit pik about him anyway bc if he had all that then hey,,, all time gr8 numbr 1 by himself but all the dom champs had flaws if we go by arn, lee, dor and ron... to nit pik they all had about 2 things that coulda been improvd but compard to everyone else at the time they were the best that day.

Yeah, epic way to post the worst pics of dillet you can find.
Bottom line is from the front, at his best, dillet looks like the freak of all freaks, and he blows Nasser away.
Fact is, in a contest, Nasser would beat him, as Dillet couldnt pose AT ALL, and his conditioning was sporadic. But that doesnt take away the fact that Dillet was far more impressive than Nasser at his best.
Your blind hero worship is sad. At least I have no qualms about admitting Dorians weak points.  ::)

Flex was one of the most perfect bodybuilders ever built.
93 ASC Flex would have mopped the floor with ANY version of Nasser.
You people that think because hes not huge means he would lose, have a lot to learn.

I'm not saying dillet wasn't great he just couldn't pose, and the one time he did pose he got stuck.

but flex was over rated. If we put nassers head on flex then he would be "all arms with oil" and "tiny chest and calves" with "lats that disappear"

and yeah he was too small.

Flex was not overrated at all, his placings speak for themselves. And also bigger is not always better, the bigger Nasser got the worse his conditioning got, the worse his proportions got and the worse his back looked.

Flex in 93 was close to being the perfect bodybuilder and from what I know had no oil in his arms yet, his chest was fine and his clavicle width was good too. His only flaw were his calves I think.

Of course when he went against bigger and better guys like Ronnie and Dorian he lost, but Nasser wouldn't have it.

No, Flex was not overrated. The only people who think Flex was overrated, are newbies who cant get past how the others were bigger than he was.
In Bodybuilding, 99% of the time size rules, but Flex was that mythical 1% who slaughtered the big guys with nothing but his proportions.
I know youre fairly new into bodybuilding, and over time youll come to realize this, just like I did. I thought the same way you did when I first got into BB, and I thought Ronnie was the greatest ever. Over time when I did more research, found out what the judges look for, is when I came to the conclusions I have now.

I'm young but not new to it.  My dad was a monster back in the day I've always been around it.
flex had good lines but his proportions are just over rated.  some one labeled him as having perfect proportions and the label stuck.  It's not his lack of size, after all shawn was smaller and I think he had better proportions.  some one labeled guys over 270 as mass monsters with no proportion, and the label stuck even if in nasser's case it wasn't true.

Nah, Shawn NEVER had Flex's proportions. Only flaw Flex had was calves (At his peak). Shawn was more consistent, but if god put a BB together, he would look like Flex. The reason he got labeled that, and it stuck, was because they were right. Its YOUR OPINION, that he was overrated, an opinion not shared by many, and all it takes is looking at his placing to see that.

Case in point.
Best BB genetics EVER.

Shows Rays flaws off big time next to Flex.

Dillet was far from his best in 96....look at his O appearances in 93 & 94 and you'll see.

96 wasn't even close, Dorian killed everyone despite his horrible arms. Please don't say Nasser should've won since he came in 3rd.

Nasser should have won in 96.  Was biggest onstage and in awesome condition.  In 96 Dorian was already showing the first signs of Palumboism (shrinking arms and growing waist).

Nasser was the fan favourite at the time too.

Nasser's conditioning sucked from the back in 1996 , and his back was laughable although he did look good from the front.

dorian was a great competitor for sure...he had that insane density to his physique. he is a smart guy too in terms of his training and nutrition! mentally very strong guy.
