Montana did everything Brady does now, but he did it when defenses were actually allowed to play defense.
Back in the 80s you could practically tackle wide receivers and actually hit the quarterback.
Plus, Montana never lost a Super Bowl.

Football is much more complicated and competitive now than it was during Montana's Era.  
Through their first eight seasons, Brady had 3 Superbowl wins, Montana 2.  Brady had the 50 TD year with Moss, Montana never had more than 31 with Rice. (although you could argue it was a passing league back then)
It will be a better argument when his career is over but he is on pace to crush alot of records and I have no doubt he'll win at least 1 or 2 more Superbowls...

Montana may have never lost but Brady will go to more than Montana has...

I'll tell you now he will not surpass Manning in stats... but look at Dan Marino and his stats then look at Joe Montana...There's no argument there who is better even though Marino destroys him number wise...Brady will have a similar result.

I agree with a little bit of that...Its not like the Colts have had a stellar defense by any means and Manning is much better at picking apart defenses than Brady is...Like I said before, Manning makes not so talented receivers look like number one receivers on the field...If the Colts could get a damn defense for a few seasons you would see them start a dynasty...
