very entertaining.  Props to katsidis. Marquez is a master technician but i think he's starting to decline a bit.  I think Manny has a better chance right now

hell no!  this is what arum wants people to buy into.   manny is completely beyond marquez at this pt in their careers.  it wont even be a fight.  basically manny fights anyone fmw has beaten.  first it was oscar and hatton.  now it marquez or mosley.  or they say bailey who will have to eat a house just to move up and fight manny.

eventhough fred was out-classed...berto just got his arum ticket canceled.  martinez is smaller than marg-o but arum will say he is too big.  how about berto and martinez are too damn fast and hit too hard.

there is still williams coming of a lost but the problem is manny doesnt have middle weight power to keep williams off of him.

anyway...looking forward to the clown and tomato can match ups coming out of fmw and manny's camps in the next couple of weeks.

berto was scheduled for mosley and lost family in Haiti.  mosley didnt take the 2nd time around so quintana was a sold veteran.  i guess screw family and fight mosley with his head in cloud 9.  

you mean step in the wrong direction as far as ppv buys go...right?  because a defensive clotty isnt a step in any direction.

dont worry mexicans will buy the marq joke of a fight part III and negros will buy mosley so arum will get his 20%, and ricans will sellout NY for cotto.

of course manny wants fmw who has an ax with arum....so at least make REAL fights while they work through it.    


oh....and the wba and ifb welterweight champs wont fight berto stateside.  he'd have to fight them overseas for no money and a risky split decision vs a no name by states' standards.

I'm saying the same thing as you bro.  Manny is a little beyond Marquez right now but not enough for Manny to fight him yet.

I made the same point about manny fighting Williams or Martinez.  Che and a few others were saying thats unrealistic to ask Manny to fight a guy that big when the guy he just fought is bigger than Martinez

Difference btw Berto and manny, Manny can pick and chose whoever he wants to fight.  Berto isn't at that level yet and probably will never be.  Only time will tell

emm, can't tell a man how to react in times of tragedy but fighters hv fought with as big of a dilemma if not bigger in their personal life.  Douglas when he fought Tyson comes to mind.

Clotty had a shot had he opened up, he hurt Manny everytime he hit him while Manny never hurt him at anypoint in the fight
