What do you mean? I would agree he's not stupid that's the last thing you can claim about him. Messy, idealistic, up against a brick wall, way out of his confort zone etc, calling him stupid is a meaningless jab.

Palin on the other hand may or not be stupid, however she makes absurd comments as a way of getting attention, this is not someone that should be considered for anything of importance.

Good article but there is a problem 333, you're asking those who think Palin is dumb to read this article and they won't. They've already made up their minds, they've been told she's dumb and they're going to stick to it no matter what evidence or truth anyone brings to light.

Side note to Skip, the idea that the GOP won't let her run for office is ridiculous, they can't prevent her, sure, they can withhold money from her campaign but do you honestly think they would if she won the primaries and got the nomination? Of course not, they would give every last red cent.

BTW, Assange got accused for rape here in Sweden, seems like a very shady deal the whole thing.

I have no opinion on Assange's character. Neither like him or dislike him.

I just think what is done right now to shut down Wikileaks is disturbing.

Ideally, all news outlets, from Glenn Beck to Olbermann to Fox to CNN to MSNBC to NY Post to Huffington Post and whatnot would stand up and just support Assange.

Not really. This guy isn't some hero. He's not even an objective individual. He edited a 60 minute video of a US chopper attack on insurgents in Iraq down to 10 minutes, removed every second of film showing the weapons they were carrying, and then tried to pass it off as a legitimate video.

That is propaganda and someone pushing an agenda.

It was also pretty nice of him to release the names of Afghan informants and the like. Funny that a jetsetting douche with an anti-American agenda gets to play God with people's lives.

Yes, even after reading this.  She isn't Regan, she isn't anyone else, she is Sarah Palin.  These comparisons are exactly what she has been trying to make - herself to Regan.  I wouldn't be surprised one bit if her 'team' fed this guy the information for this article.

Here's the thing, Obama, he isn't dumb, not at all. He has ideas and philosophies contrary to the free-market and U.S. constitution but that doesn't make him dumb. Dangerous to the American system, absolutely but not dumb.

Palin, not dumb either, a dreamer of simplicity in a world that contrives everything to be difficult and beyond simple understanding but that doesn't make her dumb.

The truth, Palin and Obama have to very different views, they both see the solution(s) very differently and if you find yourself on the opposite side of the fence opposed to one of those views, it's easy to call the other dumb. In the end it's not an argument of dumb vs. smart, it's an argument of which philosophy do we want to hold to...we have two choices, free-market or not.
