Not at all... It's just simply understanding that neither you nor I would have any real basis for saying what they would or would not do.
They may very well have had this exact discussion amongst themselves.
I'm sure many of our forefathers would be as you, but many would think as I do... Remember, it's easy to talk a good game about principles of freedom and protecting the country, but something entirely different to act upon them.
