Two charged with extortion

Two men have been charged after a man walked into an Erin Mills bank yesterday to tell staff he was being extorted.
The local businessman entered a TD bank in Mississauga just after 11:30 a.m. and told staff a group of men had demanded that he withdraw a large amount of money from his account.

As a result of the tip, the Peel Regional Police tactical squad was called out to a nutrition supplement store the victim owns on Glen Erin Dr. Police subsequently arrested and charged two men.

Gregory Kovacs, 41, of Niagara and Jonathan Sherwood, 32 of Hamilton are each charged with one count of extortion. Both men are scheduled to appear this morning in a Brampton courtroom for a bail hearing.

Two charged with extortion

Two men have been charged after a man walked into an Erin Mills bank yesterday to tell staff he was being extorted.

The name and location is of the Kovacs we know, besides that, how do we know it's the same Kovacs?  just curious. If someone competed in his local gym or HS bodybuilding competition 20yrs ago.  The medial will label him a "Professional Bodybuilder" or "Champion Bodybuilder" when they commit a crime.  Hard to believe they'd leave that out of the story if it is the same Greg Kovacs.  Just saying

Clearly Greg was concerned on missing his anabolic window on the way home from the gym and when the ATM was broken, he merely stepped inside the bank to withdraw some cash......said bank didn't have enough funds to feed him properly, so he became upset......either that or he had an allergic reaction to his prescription medication....
