but apple is truely fucking shameful and dispicable with their "preplanned obselesence"

purposely releassing models without features they could easily put in them, just so 4 months later they can re-release the item with these "nerw features" making the expensive one you just bought next to worthless


and i believe they purposely make their shit have a short lifespan as well...........back when ipods were in their heyday.........if you remember the ones from the first couple of years cose hundreds and lasted only months if you used them regulalry




apple is a necessary evil to some extent............like i tunes.......i have that on my comp.............but i try to use Apple products as little as possible

i FUCKING HATE them.............i hate their disgusting business practices of ripping people off..........i hate how they try to dictate morality and say what people can ans cant listen and see and put on their platforms............... .and even worse, i hate how they are branded as the company for "individuals", progrerssive people who follow their own path........when they are  one of the biggest evil conglomerates in the world.......fooling dumb young rich kids with their "individualist" image

Explanation please? I've always wondered what is to stop them from designing a product that automatically fails after am certain timeframe, say, when the new product is launched?

I have a iPod classic, got it last yr, months after the warranty expired, it basically "got sick", I had 15k songs on it, now only 1.9k songs, (A-C), and it only plays a few of the C songs...
I have a older iPhone that I am typing this on now, it acts up, shutting down, or the screen goes blank before or after a call so that you can't put the call on "speakerphone", then after the call, you can't really end the call, because you can't pull the screen up...this happens sporadically...

I'll be the first to admit that my 3gs has served me well and has been well worth the price of the phone itself (but not the plan, of course). 

When it had its little 'upgrade' issue to the new OS, I was pissed for about a day, but when all my notes were recovered, I forgave them...but haven't forgotten what a stressful day that was.

I remember being sad that an arsonist set the mall on fire...but at the same time being happy that the Apple store might've burned down.

But these days, the phone has an occasional hiccup and slowdowns when using some of the apps and when texting.  No problems with calls, Shazam, or Pandora, but it is definitely showing signs that it does not intend to last me forever...or even another year, at this rate.

basically kinda like chewing/bubble gum...Or the Domestic Car companies at one time. With chewing/bubble gum, the flavor wouldn't last that long, meaning that you had to go thru a whole pack quickly, thus making you buy more. Thenm they come out with 'longer lasting" gum, which did last marginally longer, but you still were buying more packs...gum like Juicy Fruit, still have a short lifespan.
With the Domestic car companies, it seemed like they engineered the cars to last a certain number, and then they break...It also seems that BMW continues this practice wit the cars lasting just little after their warranty expires...
