I always take something into the bathroom to read when I plan to take a shit. If I don't, I tend to rush the process and not relax enough. Shitting is a necessary bore as far as I am concerned.
As for diet, eating a well balanced diet is probably best for most people most of the time.
Ultimately, one would do best to concern themselves more with what they put into their bodies than with what comes out. If you eat a nutritious diet in sensible amounts (not over eat) you shit just fine. It is likely if you are shitting large quantities several times a day, you are over eating and/or eating non nutritious foods that your body either doesn't need or cannot utilized. Falcon believes he eats well, but it seems possible that he eats too abundantly. 30 oz of beans is too much in a day. Probably a half can of beans would suffice. He's not alone though, most of us in this country with an above poverty level income, over eat....and thus we over shit. LOL!
