Drugs, no drugs, genetic potential?
« on: December 08, 2010, 11:42:21 AM »
Back in the day you would often hear something along the lines of

"All the top bodybuilders would still be the top bodybuilders if they didn't take drugs. They're the ones with the benefit of great genes..." blah blah blah.

I used to believe this - back then - but since reading GH15's postings I'd like to know - from him or anyone else - who really would have been something special without gear (or with considerably less), and who wouldn't have made an impression at all if they only had access to what was around at the start of the 80's.

you can't really know someone's hormonal response. Look at Kovacks, who would have been big in anycase, but his response has fizzled up quick = palumboiism, cocaine use etc.

others like liar like lee preist can use hormonization and mutate big many years 25 or more since 11 years old, constant mutation

The ones with the smallest joints, smallest waists and best muscle shape.

The ones that looked best at lower weights.

Not Arnold, Dorian, Ronnie, Jay, et cetera.

When I see guys like Mustafa Mohammad off the juice as a 40yr old man I know I had a better physique than him at 17 before I started training yet I know that I could never look like him.

Some people must respond better than other definately.
