ESCONDIDO, Calif. (KABC) -- A house packed with explosives is being burned to the ground in SD County. Neighbors have been evacuated, and a section of Interstate 15 is shut down.

Demolition experts were planning to begin the burn at 9 a.m., but due to weather conditions, the burn was pushed back to 11 a.m.

"We hope this thing consumes the hazardous material within the first hour, and then it will probably burn, I was told, most of the day because, of course, they're not going to put it out," said Jan Caldwell of the San Diego County Sheriff's Department.

Don't think so... so crazy ass Romanian or something....they found hundreds of kilos of that shit, so burning the house was the only option... I think his gardener stepped on some a blew up.. that was the whistle blowing.

There might have been hundreds of Mexicans doing all the work though.

the gardener was the one who found out it was a bomb house, he tripped on something and his steel toe boot hit the driveway and a spark caught some powder and blew his legs off
