Yeah, actually it pretty much is. I'm from Columbus, Ohio which incidently is the home of Westside Barbell, and as it's name implies Westside Barbell is located on the westside of Columbus, and the westside of Columbus is home to the majority of white trash and hillbillies that reside in Columbus, so go figure. As a side note, I did only bench press competitions, and these white trash hillbillies called us bp only guys "bench press f@ggots" ;D

Powerlifting is sad. Bunch of fatass hick-hog's blasting Devil Driver screaming at one another only to lift a bar 4" and slam it down. Seem's like more focus is placed on the "pump up" storming back and forth grunting like a blood lusted orc, then the lifts.

Bodybuilding is sad. Bunch of drug addict fags flexing and touching each others glutes (slurp) only to get a plastic trophy and a contract with Steve "Lord of Schmoes" Blechmann.
