ah.  I heard it was because they vowed to block 100% of all legislation - until the tax cuts that obama caved on, are officially enacted.

or a problem for the 911 responders dying who don't get medical care they deserve because the repubs (who have their WIN already) aren't getting the paperwork completed fast enough?

I don't follow... 911 was 10 years ago.  People who were first responders - many of them have cancer today.  And they can't get treatment because the repubs are blocking this.

Just because it's 10 years ago doesn't mean they're any less heroic.

the point is why now, after the reps have already said they would not pass any legislation before the tax cuts is this brought up?
