Michael Moore has anted up $20,000 to help post bail for WikiLeaks co-founder Julian Assange.

Moore just blogged, he will do anything he can to keep WikiLeaks "alive and thriving as it continues its work to expose the crimes that were concocted in secret and carried out in our name and with our tax dollars."

Moore takes note of Rep. Peter King, who called WikiLeaks a "terrorist organization."

Moore fired back, "And indeed they are! They exist to terrorize the liars and warmongers who have brought ruin to our nation and to others.

Perhaps the next war won't be so easy because the tables have been turned -- and now it's Big Brother who's being watched ... by us!"

It looks like Assange will get out on $310,000 bail.

UPDATE: Swedish prosecutors are challenging Julian's bail ... so he'll remain in custody for the time being.

To knowingly release documents that you know will damage the current world stage is not treason? These documents were TOP Secret. The same would be said if someone did the same thing to the Russian Government. I can tell you Putin would not stand for this and make the Assange was brought to justice swiftly.

Once again...look up the definition of treason...upon understanding this, this is the end of conversation.
Assange is not a U.S. citizen. He did not steal the documents himself and so under your way of thinking, anyone or any entity that spoke of or released any of this information should be tried also..that's all moot because you can't be a traitor if you're not a citizen of the nation.

The way I see it, there should be some things people should know and something they shouldn't. A lot of the documents released were done not out of good will but to embarrass the United States government. That is exactly why they released some documents of what the Administration felt about our countries leaders. This doesn't help searching for peace around the world.

Maybe I look at it more in depth than others.
