That's how I deal with snow, more or less.. I have a flamethrower I made, uses a combination of propane/butane shoots 15 foot fireballs, couple of shots and the snow on my driveway is gone
They used similar jet engines, mounted on vehicles, to 'blow out' the thousands of oil fires left by Saddam Hussein's scorched earth tactics.
