Why does the policy have to be changed? The military is not about self expression. Be gay, but don't smear it in everyones face and nobody will give a shit. Fucking queers do not understand that by and large nobody gives a shit about what they do behind closed doors. it's the pride parades, overt displays of gay affection and this push to ram through gay marriage ( no pun intended) that pisses people off.
Gays that rub their faggotry in everyones face piss me off almost as much as douchebags who do the same thing with their nationality. Nobody cares about where your from and if you have to lean on your background like a crutch, it just shows that you have nothing going for you except your ethnic (or in this case sexual) identity.
Gays in the military shouldn't be discriminated against, but at the same time, their sexuality shouldn't even be brought up in the first place. It's not anyones business-- Hence don't ask, don't tell.
