its not just that, Ive heard that ANY excersize behind the neck like that is very dangerous, seated BTN presses, and BTN pulldowns, something about the range of motion being to deep and putting way to much stress on the body.
I know for sure the behind the neck presses are terrible, but Im not so sure about the pulldowns.
Yep...nothing behind the neck, no presses, no pulldowns, no pullups, etc, it's just asking for trouble.

Bullshit, as long as there is a good warm up, I have never had any issues with BTN Pulldowns or Presses. Problem is people will often go too heavy, then blame the exercise and not their ability to lift it. I prefer BTN presses in the smith machine anyways, you don't have to worry about it hitting the pins on the rack, or standing, which I don't do that often anymore........
