Here's the situation.

My GF wants to cook Christmas dinner at her house, which is a nice place, but it isn't that big. it's a split level with two bedrooms upstairs and the living room/dining room and kitchen downstairs. plus she has a young daughter so their are fucking toys everywhere

i have a 4 bedroom house that is fucking HUGE. tremendous kitchen, dining room and a great room that can easily seat 20 people with the master and 3 brs upstairs.

Actually I'm going through some shit with my current gf as we wpeak.

I had a business meeting come up last night with a friend of mine. I had to go over there and do some work (great money making opportunity) I told this to my gf, that it was going to be a late night (I got home at 3 am) Well she flipped shit, saying I was going over there to fuck around, drink, mischifef...etc. Her and I didn't even have plans to do anything that night.

I do not tolerate such behavior because it's unnecessary bullshit. She comes over today after a whole day of no texts/no calls (unusual for us) I ignored her completley and told her to have a nice Christmas (I left her alone at my house)  and how she was going to have to explain to her family why her boyfriend didn't buy her any presents or isn't at Christmas with her family.

My phone has been blowing up all day with her calls/text ...apologizing. I've ignored all the calls/texts except one telling her that she's spending Christmas without me and I didn't buy her any presents...which is true.

I know what I'm doing is harsh, especially around Christmas. But my point is that she needs to learn that you can't go crazy apeshit and then expect to crawl back into bed with me the next night because you said a meaningless word "sorry" to me.

I will bet a large sum of money that such an episode won't happen again...at least in the foreseeable future.

I haven't read this whole thread so maybe someone has already made these points.   I'm Italian and have a hot blooded Italian mother and sister.
the first thing I would consider is that just because her house is smaller doesn't mean it won't be a good time (just something to keep in mind).  Second  if you're going to be with the chick for awhile you have to let her do things her way occassionally, and if you're right she will hopefully realize it on her own (and you get the beneift later of reminding her you were right).  If it's really a big deal I would try to compromise and do one day at her house and one day at yours.   Lastly, it wouldn't be an Italian Christmas (at least with my family) if someone wasn't pissed off and yelling at someone else about something.  Happy Holidays
