The guys that buy those publications only buy them for the muscled, shaved and oiled males. Nobody would buy Flex to see females...there are MILLIONS of mags with hot gals clad in bikinis - or less - it's all about the muscular males..

Haha I remember when I was in University 12 years ago, this one time I bought a FLEX mag and took it to my class. Was browsing through it before the lecture and one of the girls sitting next to me said, "You probably bought that mag just to perv at the chicks" (it was a swimsuit special). And to my ~~dis~~credit, I replied immediately without thinking, "Hell no! I bought it for the bodybuilders", before realizing how gay it sounded

Must've been channelling the Getbig spirit even back then

Per Bernal is actually a very good photographer, and some of his pics are truly great. He is not the one choosing the covers nor the pics in the magazines, or 'photoshopping' them either.

As many photographers know, you can take quite a few pics, but only some of them can be considered worthy. You never know when you are going to get the right pic, that will work or catch some editor's eye, or just be ther right one.

I agree Per is a good photographer. A lot of what they do to his photos are probably out of his hands after he submits them. Probably no different than any other magazine.
