The hotter the water the better ... and old fashioned perculator is the best ( but difficult to master ).. then the kind where you pour the boiling water over a filter ( Melitta ) ... they say the flavor is better with those .. I use a drip with a timer so it's ready when I get up and have no complaints.

Like tea I assume .. the "brewing" is where the flavor comes from  :)

Never...I just drink the booze straight when it's cold.

Me neither  :-\  I can't stand the taste of coffee in ANYTHING  ~ not even the slightest  hint of it ~ not even in chocolate.

It would be nice to be able to brew a great pot of coffee for house guests though and have them respond like Jules  :D

I get the 8'oclock brand at SAMS.  Certainly not the best out there, but pretty decent for a great price.  Some of the ones I bought from a charity where they are sold directly from the farmers in central-america have been the best I've ever bought.  No idea what the "brand" was.

I've always heard Kona coffee is supposed to be great  ???  I've given it as gifts, but don't know if it was good.  Last time I was in the Dominican, my friend said the coffee was awesome.  It was Santo Domingo I think.

Excellent to use for just yourself, or when only one to several guests would like coffee.
You can purchase different sizes.
