Well he was on record stating that he was nearly the same weight precontest in 92, and that he just kept dieting and dieting to come in shredded, had he not overdieted that he would have come in 92 with his 93 size, so IDK?  ???
No one really knows except Dorian himself I guess, one thing for sure was he never sacrificed his conditioning for the sake of slin size.

True. You can actually see that between his "famous" precontest pics of 93 and his 'O showing, he lost quite a lot of size too, just to be sure to be in condition. He was actually fuller in '95 but the tears had started thorwing his balance a bit (though he was way better than in '94). The strange thing is that as good as he was in both '93 and '95, it seems Dorian never really peaked because of the tears and playing safe as far as conditioning was concerned. Had he stayed healthy and found the perfect conditioning/size combo, I really wonder what that would have been.

Connie Roleman couldn't defeat the prime Dorian though both were competing together since 1992

I see the nuthuggers are still very jealous that Dorian's lat spread was not as good as ronnie's, who also has arms by the way.

carry on crying LOL :P

Dorian's lat spread destroys Ronnie's.

Shh, Hulkster doesnt care about reality, he only cares about "Hulkster's world" (the reality he lives in thanks to his medical condition that doesnt allow him comprehend reality the same way we do).
Oddly, "Hulkster land' allows ole' Hulky to ignore everything that goes against his fantasy of Ronnie being the perfect, unbeatable super hulk with absolutley no flaws ever, and includes such things as
-Ronnies calves are better than Dorians (cause Dorians are too big),
-Dorian Yates was soft,
-Dorian Yates back has loose skin (Like Jay),
-Ronnie 99 was better conditioned than 98,
-Ronnie has an "classic aesthetic physique" (LOL),
-Ronnie has better proportions than Flex wheeler,
-He has even argued that Ronnie's side tri is better than Dorians (Just... wow...),
-Ronnie dominated 01 even though he almost lost (And Jay had won throughout the whole prejudging),
-Ronnies BDB is thicker than Dorians because its more "lumpy" (Yes, thats his quote)
-Ronnie 99 would make Dorian look small, even though Dorian was nearly 10 lbs heavier with equal or better conditioning)
and the list goes on.
Many of those he wont admit to now, since he got crushed and mocked for saying those things/

sorry but not true, i ve seen dorian 92 and 93 offseason (in april/may) and he gained a lot of musclemass that year, also his waist was  growing also (a bit to much)

so i guess he changed something in his anabolics

dorian was great, but not perfect, like everybody else

his pecs, left arm (even befor the injuries) were really bad
on the other hand his back and legs were unmached, while his schoulders were average

Its crazy how thick his lats look from the front...
Literally looks like they are slabs of concrete bolted on his back, Ive never seen anyone have the kind of front to back thickness yates had.

Dorian's lat spread destroys Ronnie's.

uh no.

at his best in 93 it still fails short. having arms, quads etc helps a lot. its more than just great lats, which dorian had. ronnie had the rest of the body too.

ouch. if dorian had better arms and quads, he might come close to Coleman's shot.

but alas, he didn't. such is life. :-\

still, dorian should be proud of having history's second best ever lat spread and second best ever back.

If anything those shots are just as impressive as the 95 pre-contest gym shot that was released by Kevin Horton on Bodybuilding.com a couple of Christmases ago.

I'm not arging the fact that he didn't gain a lot of mass, just that Dorian would always be ready to sacrifice size for conditioning which he clearly did in '93 and after and I would guess in '92 also. I always thought his arms were really good before the tears, specially triceps. Shoulders were not as amazing as Lervone's but it didn't throw off his balance a bit, even with his traps and lats. So I guess we're disagreing here.

Dorian in 95 was his best conditoning ever, IMO, Im not sure if 95 or 93 was better, 95 he was larger with better conditioning, but his torn bi threw everything off a bit... So I dont know....
Definatley the clear winner in 95.
96, since 2nd was DQ'd Id say he was the clear winner again.

This is Dorians worst pose hands down IMHO, and even with the torn bi he looks pretty good.

Such a shame he torn that bi...  :-\

Shawn was 2nd in 96 wasn't he? Nasser was 3rd and disqualified.

Yep and actually Nasser could have taken second place. I've never totally bought the "Nasser should have won in '97" though it was clearly Dorian's worst showing. Had Nasser been that year in his '95 or '96 shape, he would have taken it. If I remember correctly he was at an even hight weight in '96 than '97 but was softer in '97.
