« on: December 30, 2010, 03:03:52 AM »
another thign im going to discuess with you friends in the new upcoming year ,,is the importance of age when it comes to bodybilding,,i will make a special posting about how critical age and the early usage of drugs in competetive bodybuilding,,by drugs i mean hormones,,it will also be after jan 1 when i have more time,, the importance of age in bodybuilding is critical,,unlike what you red on board on internet the earlier you start hormonizing the better bodybuilder you will become,,it has very little to do with natural foundation and more to do with the human body and aging proess,,
to be continud in 2011

Shawn Ray was a great Junior and went on from there as did Lee Haney and most Pros were great teens and juniors. ;)

I love these board gurus who recommend starting juicing no earlier than 21-25, preaching patience and how bodybuilding is marathon, not a sprint.  :D

You will never peak at the right time or hit your potential this way.

Some champions, like Arnold and Haney were already out of bodybuilding by the time these gurus recommend starting the drugs. ::) Juicing as a kid has certain consequences and you can't decide if it was worth it until after, but from a longevity perspective, Haney's and Arnold's way was probably best.

i didn't start saucing until i was 26. i didnt start using GH until 2 years ago. i couldnt recommend more someone wait as long as they can before starting- especially maxing out their development using anabolics before starting GH. for some reason i have noticed the longer you use anabolics to build your base before using GH, and then using GH in smaller doses to keep growing the quality of physique is so much better, looks healthier and keeps a nice symmetry.

i guess it all depends on your goals. mine was to build the kind of physique you saw in the late 80's/ early 90's. big, attainable and healthy looking. someone looking to compete at any level these days is going to have to make a decision to juice early and a lot at what consequences? i wouldn't have changed a thing i did to get to where i am. i think building it slowly benefited me. anyone looking to compete though just doesnt have that luxury. guess it all comes dow to what you want, what your willing to do, and what your willing to sacrifice to get there.

I waited till 21, and by then was benching about 450 natural.  I would advise all young people to wait.  I got lucky and was able to train with a pro a few years later.  I did not take the same same as this man.  What a crazy genetic freak though, 265 at 5'7" with shredded glutes.  He definitely told me his bodyfat level was do to drugs.  The leanest I've been at 5'6", is 225.  The man was unreal.

I've gotta admit that I am most interested in what God has to say as far as overeating is concerned, and I'm guessing that this will apply to natural trainers as well, it should be quite interesting.

around 15 seems to be the right age to start juicin if you want to be a champion.

See Cutler, see Arnold, see Dorian, See Shawn Rey. See every successfull pro with exeption of Ronnie Coleman, he started at 18  :D
