in other words, he doesnt know any better. IF he posted unrefutable proofs supported by double blind studies and/or strong scientific rationale, then he'd have far more credibility.

the problem is that alot of these things dont exist, so it is only anecdotes, which are, by nature, not conclusive proof of anything..they are at best, some form of indication, but at worst, a completely inaccurate representation of how things work.

im sure hes somewhere in the middle.

My assertion is that if cops/feds want you they will get you. Plain and simple. Unless you are meticulous in safety precautions and never ever slip up and are never ratted out you can just as easily be busted as joe blow who buys powder from china and bottles it himself. Hide your IP, the evidence is still on your comp. I know how to wipe a drive but it's not quicky done so hiding evidence isn't nearly so easy. Also if you use a site like getbig and exchange pm's the feds can acquire received/sent pm's through subpeona. Most ISP's will give them this info will little hassle. Most email providers aren't even legit hushmail for example has already turned over people's email accounts with little fanfare. I think cyber is legit still though. By hiding your IP you only buy yourself time, if the feds smell blood you are screwed.

As to the moderators all I ever saw was highly discounted gear freebies and kickbacks for referrals, can't imagine they get more than that. They aren't all that important nowadays, the vets from board to board are who carries the most weight.
