Of course....but the clowns on here think a Communist leaning community organizer with no experience running anything is more qualified to lead a country than a Billionaire than has run multiple corporations and can clearly assess what's going on in the International community. I hope he does run...of course he probably won't get the Mud people vote.

So what? Even more impressive that he's able to keep coming back and earning the fortunes all over again. What he said about China was dead on, about OPEC was totally correct and the the epic weakness being shown towards our enemies..also dead on. Trump would have the best people advising him and if they screwed up.....they're fired.

Trump does this every single year - some big media tiff to get everyone talking. Remember the choreographed back-and-forth with Rosie? The Ivanka divorce stunt? The Miss USA Scandal? The mosque buyout offer?

Guys, Trump does this every few months, and it usually coincides with starts or ends of his Apprentice show. And whattya know... 5 days (one media cycle?) before the new season starts, he just happens to release info he is gonna possibly be the challenger to Obama?

Nice timing, huh?

But he can't tell us now. Nope. He'll drag it out every week so we'll remember his show, chock full of hiphop celebrities, is on every week. Then, we'll all be glued to his seats in 3 months (well past when he'd have to announce to have any real impact) so he can say "You're fired, politicians in washington!.... snicker, snicker... but I'm not actually running".

It's a stunt to keep his show in the news. Plain and simple. Does anyone here disagree? 33?

When I saw the title of this thread, I thought "The new season of 'The Apprentice' must be starting soon."

For the record, most of what he said is wrong. America's manufacturing and import economy is still twice as large as China's. China specializes in low end good and only manages that because they have a never ending supply of what is essentially slave labor.

As for the US being beholden to Chinese interest because of our heavy borrowing? Um, no. Their lending is a vital investment for the country and no other industry or economy is large enough to absorb that much cash. For better or worse, they need us as much as we need them.

Also, I disagree that anything Obama has done has negatively affected the standing of the US in the eyes of the world. I think the truth of the matter is just that being the world's only economic superpower for so long engendered a lot of jealousy and the fact that we are now just the biggest fish in a pond with a few other big fishes is being reflected in today's political environment. And if anything brought that fact home, it was the events leading up to the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq more than anything else.
