they just said the birds died from internal trauma and died in midair before they hit the ground. and the dead fish were all the same species. very strange

Strange is a fucking understatement. This is some major fucking shit, first bees were dying en masse and now birds and fish? Why aren't any scientists talking about this???

the birds apparently got it from the trauma caused by fireworks.

still no answer on the fish, though.

It's not a conspiracy, it was on CNN a few days ago and all over local news in AK.

So, what you are trying to say is that conspiracies never get national air time on the big networks, huh?

..And that only true stories or events of significance get spoken about on the news...hmm..

..And that somehow in your mind, since bodybuilding never gets any airtime on the big networks, it must be just some big conspiracy!?!

You my friend are both reckless and bashful, get out of this site!

Why aren't any scientists talking about this???

They are, it is just that the common folk and media refuse to listen and lable them as quacks.

Today, Scientists are seen as idiots and people would rather listen to Rush or some other media Pig instead of sound logic and Science. It is a sad today in our society when the words of scientists are ignored but people will listen to the media and political nutjobs opinions as fact.

Any Biology majors in here? Come on, if it is "species" related it can only be one thing...

Conspiracy my ass, these mass species deaths have been occuring all over the world for a while now.

I  heard only bees in big commercial hives were getting it and that it was some kind of parasite.

Hundreds more birds found dead, this time in Louisiana
**************************

Three days after thousands of blackbirds were found dead in Arkansas, some 500 red-winged-blackbirds and starlings were found dead along a quarter-mile stretch of highway in Louisiana, hundreds of miles to the south.

The Associated Press reports that the latest dead birds were found Monday near Labarre, about 300 miles south of Beebe, Ark., where thousands of birds fell from the sky on New Year's Eve.

State biologists are sending some of the Louisiana birds for testing in Georgia and Wisconsin.

Preliminary necropsies on the dead birds in Arkansas "showed trauma," said Karen Rowe, Arkansas Game and Fish Commission ornithologist. "The birds obviously hit something very hard and had hemorrhages." Beyond that, all the birds were healthy.

Among the speculation for the cause of death is that loud noises, perhaps from fireworks, frightened the birds and sent them crashed into buildings and other obstacles.

Yes, it was on the news. But the conspiracists already have made up stories that aliens are coming, the government is testing something, and that the end of the world is starting.

Hence - conspiracy.
