 I did the same thing when I was 21 on the craps table. And I won.

 Of course my life savings at that time was about 900 dollars though. But it was a nice win. And afterwards I got drunk and laid at The Palms. Great Vegas trip.

I wonder, after paying capital gains taxes on liquefied assets, cost of the trip, higher tax bracket, taxes on the winnings, accountant fees, etc, if he didn't just break even in the end.
