Falcon, how do you explain that a given mass of fat has more energy (joules) than the same mass of protein or carbohydrates? Is there sorcery at play?
yes scientific sorcery
the typical carbohydrate molecule percentage wise have more oxygen atoms in it, than what a fat molecule have.
fat molecule is almost only Carbon and Hydrogen with just a few Oxygen atoms.
carb molecules have more oxygen and hydrogen in them
2 Hydrogen + 1 oxygen makes water molecule = no energy
perhaps we get more out of breath from fat 'energy', no?
