egg yolks....

its become very popular in the uk to consume alot of egg yolks, a local pro told me to have all the yolks in my 10 egg usual daily meal... ive always had 4 yolks and 10 whites, seems like alot of the uk guys are hammering them home ,,, any thoughts on weather this is safe?

10 egg yolks? too much..
I eat 1 a day. lol

  Too many calories and saturated fats. The lecithin in egg yolks reduces absorption of saturated fats in the intestine, but in this amount I don't think it can be good for your blood lipid profiile. Whole eggs are great for mass - the second best besides hamburger meat - but you can't eat whole eggs all the time. If you try to get your protein from mostly eggs and you always eat the yolks, you will be adding 2,000 worthless calories a day to get a measly extra 50 grams of protein. Not worth it.

i think i'll stick to my usual 4 yolks per day and keep on the safe side....

whole eggs are great for adding mass when your natty. all the extra cholestrol and fat helps keep hormone levels optimal. for a juicer, id rather eat egg whites and use olive oil once they are finished(not too much point in eating cholestrol/saturated fat when your injecting hormones into your system).


any thoughts on weather this is safe?
theres no health risk so long as your keeping total daily calories moderate.

What you say is correct.
Vince Gironda spouted the same rhetoric and even claimed that (back in the 60's) bb'ers could duplicate the effects of (60's) steroids through dietary manipulation; especially utilizing egg yolks.

I don't know that I would take it that far...
 ;)

I would cut back and use just 1 or 2 yolks.  It still gives a little added flavor to the egg whites and will reduce cholesterol

Hello dear, that's is really too much yolks on daily basis 10 in no's are really too much and not good for health also. Just take two daily for better health and nutrition...

  Actually the effect on testosterone makes no difference for muscle growth. For libido, yes, but for sexual drive? No. You need to increase testosterone dozens of times to get anabolic effect from it. This is why weak steroid cycles involve taking 700+ mg of testosterone a week, or 20 times more testosterone than you produce naturally. Increasing testosterone 40% or even doubling it will have no anabolic effect. The reason why eating lots of eggs is good for grwoth are calories. You cannot grow without ample calories for the simple reason that the body needs more organic matter to build it's tissue than it is expending.

No, its good... carbs are your only problem before going to bed.

  It makes no difference for muscle growth. You need huge increases in testosterone to have an anabolic effect. Increasing your testosterone by 25% or even doubling it won't give you more than increased libido and also acne. A "light" steroid cycle increases plasma testosterone levels by 10 times. And that is a light cycle. Do the math. The average adult man produces 5 miligrams of testosterone a day. A single ampoule of Sustanon has 250 mg of test. So, if you take a single ampoule of Sustanon a week, which is the lowest steroid cycle you could go, you would be getting about 35 miligrams of testosterone a day, or 7 times more than what your body produces naturally. And that gives you very, very little muscle growth. Most steroid users take 1 gram a week or more. That adds up to 30 times more testosterone than what your body produces naturally every day. And pro bodybuilders take up to 4,000 miligrams of test + several other drugs a week. Getting 50% more testosterone from eating egg yolks won't give you increased muscle growth due to this factor, but because all those calories puts your body into a positive nitrogen balance state. Nothing besides that.

Egg yolks are the fully packed of important nutrients, full of cholesterol, essential fatty acids and fat soluble vitamins. The best is in the the egg is egg yolk. Without it there is nothing in an egg. Its helps in increasing muscle and provide energy to the body after workout or exercise.
