NY Times says it's an American version of the British show (so new episodes with diff. people I guess).

JS is the best show MTV has had in years. Most people I know who "hate" it still watch it every week and take themselves way too seriously.

The kids on the show actually grew on me, mike is a douche (just due to insecurity, you can tell hes a decent guy when women or his ego isnt involved), but the rest actually seem like good kids, although Sammi's personality reminds me of my wife a lot sometimes. $:-\$

in the cast's defense its not like there' hey where italian or italian type'thats why we act like this,and only vinny has a true italian immigrant backround his parents are from there.
